Director, Marketing and Communications
Responsible for Marketing and Communications strategy and its implementation.
- Key areas of responsibility are advertising, brand, property marketing, content / research marketing, public relations, internal communications, digital marketing and event management.
- Ensure the Marketing and Communications strategy is in line with CBRE’s global strategy, and is supportive of growth and revenue generation.
- Responsible for developing strong and productive relationships with senior leadership – both Business Line Leaders and Shared Services Leaders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS
- Plan and implement Marcomms processes and initiatives in HK
- Manage Marcomms team and ensure team development and growth initiatives are in place
- Track Marcomms activities, demonstrating link between activities and results
- Drive consistency of collateral/promotional materials – adhering to CBRE’s brand guidelines
- Develop awards program and strategy and coordinate/write submissions
- Assist with management of Client Care activities, e.g., client events; corporate merchandise, etc.
- Develop strategy/tactics to market CBRE to clients using existing vehicles, Campaign Logic, and new approaches
- Develop and manage digital marketing strategy for HK, including web, Twitter or equivalent, Property Information Site
MARKETING:
- Review/refine existing marketing practices and materials for purpose of creating and driving efficient processes
- Guide Business Line Leaders and Managing Directors to develop and implement targeted Marketing plans
- When applicable, manage day-to-day activities with creative agencies, maintain and negotiate rates with media
COMMUNICATIONS:
- Develop communications plan, covering media relations, client and internal communications
- Oversee all print production processes in coordination with Asia Graphic Design team
- Work closely with HK Research to ensure focused communication of research internally and externally
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Demonstrated ability in delivering results – requires skills of a hands-on marketer, with strategic insight
- Demonstrated experience in a broad marketing role in advertising, property, financial or professional services
- Fluent in all aspects of the marketing – brand, media buying, digital, print production, web, outdoor
- Strong writing and editing capabilities, specifically business writing, executive communications, creative writing
- Client focused, demonstrating ability to provide quality service and advice within Marcomms arena
- Sound decision making capabilities, demonstrating an ability to create persuasive and compelling recommendations
- Ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organisation with excellent presentation skills
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
- Creative thinker with ability to implement regional process in varying Asia Markets
- Intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft packages –Word, Excel and Outlook
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 4 year-education in a relevant field i.e. marketing, communication, public relation, economics or commerce
- 10 years+ experience in marketing management in a service-related industry
- Presentation skills and ability to influence stakeholders
- Writing skills and ability to edit existing writing
